CNC MACHINED HANGBOARD
Pull-up style hangboard to develop finger/grip strength for rock climbing designed to be manufactured on a CNC machine

Problem: I needed a hangboard for which I could work on finger and upper body strength for rock climbing

Action: Designed a hangboard in Fusion 360 that would allow me to practice an array of holds and maneuvers and would fit within the constraints of my school’s Carbide 3D Shapeoko CNC Router

Action: Tested to find the correct tolerances for the individual pieces of the hangboard so the parts will fit together

Action: Created tool pathing to control the CNC Router to cut out the parts for the hangboard

*Unfortunately I lost access to the CNC machine due to COVID shutting down my high school so the hangboard could not be built*
